Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez are parting ways.
On Monday, Grande filed for divorce in Los Angeles, citing "irreconcilable differences," according to a source familiar with the situation as reported by CNN.
CNN has contacted a representative for Grande for a statement, and the divorce is being handled by family law attorney Laura Wasser on Grande's behalf. Gomez's legal representation has not been confirmed.
The couple tied the knot in 2021 in an intimate ceremony with less than 20 people, held at their Montecito home. At the time, Grande's representative shared, "The room was so happy and full of love. The couple and both families couldn't be happier."
Grande had previously posted photos of the wedding on her Instagram, featuring her in a Vera Wang gown and Gomez in a Tom Ford suit, with the caption "5.15.21." Although the post has been removed, it captured moments of the joyful celebration.
This union came two years after Grande's engagement to comedian Pete Davidson. Grande and Gomez, a real estate agent, publicly revealed their relationship with the release of her 2020 song "Stuck with U," which featured Gomez in the accompanying music video. The couple announced their engagement later that year.
Rumors of a possible separation emerged in July when Grande was seen without her wedding band at Wimbledon. While the singer last posted a photo with Gomez in November, they generally kept their relationship private, despite occasional public appearances.
The Grammy-winning artist had been occupied with the filming of the cinematic adaptation of "Wicked" in London alongside Bailey, Cynthia Erivo, Jeff Goldblum, Michelle Yeoh, and Bowen Yang, before the SAG-AFTRA strike in July.
